Stone Group (Stone), a leading provider of ICT solutions to the UK public sector, has joined the Framework to offer the provision of IT hardware and services to NHS organisations across the country through NHS Purchasing Organisations, North of England NHS Commercial Procurement Collaborative (NOE CPC) and NHS Shared Business Services (NHS SBS).
NHS Procurement Organisations, NOE CPC and NHS SBS both work with NHS organisations across the country. They work with them to maximise their purchasing power by undertaking collaborative procurements, supporting contract implementation and realising efficiencies and value added benefits to save money.
Stone has been successful on the following lots:
Lot 1 – Desktops
Lot 2 – Laptops
Lot 5 – Clinical Monitors, Medical Displays
Lot 6 – ‘Green’ Sustainably Sourced IT Hardware
Lot 8 – Deployment Services
“This is a significant framework for Stone to be part of,” said Simon Harbridge, CEO of Stone Group. “We understand the healthcare market incredibly well and we are looking to expand our relationships with the NHS. It is a sector we feel we can deliver real efficiency gains and cost savings to, whilst at the same time showing how our technology can be used to improve patient care.”
The contract is set to run for two years, NOE CPC and NHS SBS has reserved the right to extend the contract for a further two years (in one year increments).
