Program vs. programme – Grammarist
Every so often I have a complete breakdown in my own grammatical confidence.I blame having to use words like leverage and solution in conversations.
Today it was about that word for a planned roster of PR activity for a defined period of time. A program. No, I mean programme, don’t I?
Thanks to our most effective unpaid intern, Senor Google, I can now keep my insecurities to myself with this handy link.
In the UK, it’s a PR programme from Mantis, and a software program from one of our clients. If you’re American, there’s no such thing as a programme. Not even Mad Men is a TV programme. And there’s certainly no national space programme. Always program.
Get with the program!
